THE OPPORTUNITY
We are on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to work with our finance team and lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing our finance function and operations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Leading comprehensive financial analyses and utilizing appropriate methods for executive decision-making
- Leading the monthly financials and conducting monthly financial forecasts
- Implementing plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Providing insight on spending trends and cost-saving initiatives, and margin opportunities
- Leading compliance requirements
- Periodically reviewing the organization’s financial reports and identifying opportunities for cost reductions
- Analyzing market trends and competitors periodically
REQUIREMENTS
- Fully qualified in CA (SL)/CIMA (UK) or ACCA (UK) and holding a relevant degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience in auditing/accounting and finance at managerial level
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a good team player and have the flexibility to work for US hours as and when required
